 “Definitely original and interactive, undoubtedly unusual and out of the ordinary” Elisabetta Amoruso is a painter and performer born in Florence in March 2000 who currently works in Berlin; with a background as a dancer and trained at the Porta Romana high school she then attended some courses at the Brera academy.
Her unmistakable trait is the use of QR codes that are no longer a cold and detached transmission of data but becomes a real emotional and intimate exchange between the artist and the user.
Her work is directed towards art therapy, focussing on the sensitisation, normalisation and analysis of the human emotions spectrum, a great session of mass Art therapy in her own way, where the figure of patient and therapist alternates repeatedly between the artist and the viewer in an internal dialogue through the artistic mediums of her manufacture and based on her experience but aimed at identifying the user in themselves; named by a strong Poignant but with a romantic, almost dreamlike colour choice
Her research is divided into three phases:
Awareness of pain
Pain acceptance and analysis
Pain cure.
She is currently working on phase 1: the impact, the inner mirror, where the human free his feelings and become aware of his emotions
The codes are fundamental in that, because in favour of the viewer, he is not forced to look inside himself, but, with his time, he can decide whether to scan the artist's codes to see her, listen and understand her.
It is precisely in this act of empathy that the user goes unconsciously to welcome and accept not only the pain of the artist but also his own pain, and, from what may seem like a representation of the feelings of others, he immers himself in a deep inner analysis and sees himself in a mirror

Elisabetta Amoruso è una pittrice e performer toscana, si forma  sin dall'infanzia nelle arti sceniche quali danza classica, moderna, contemporanea e hip-hop;  e arti visive grafico-pittoriche e plastico-scultoree con riguardo anche per la fotografia e il cinema.
La sua ricerca artistica affronta il dolore e la solitudine, lei stessa sostiene che il suo intento è rendere i suoi lavori degli specchi dove le persone possano guardarsi e sentirsi comprese e meno sole nel loro dolore, nota distintiva del suo operato è l’utilizzo frequente di codici QR scannerizzabili dagli spettatori che mostrano video di sue performance e digital art dove i suoni e la musica giocano un ruolo fondamentale trasportando le sue emozioni oltre la tela e con le quali continua a portare avanti anche la sua passione per la danza
Grande fonte di ispirazione per lei è la coreografa Pina Bausch, e altre grandi artiste femminili come Frida Kahlo, Ana Mendieta, Marìa Evelia Marmolejo, Gina Pane e Marina Abramović
